I am writing because what happened to me is very unusual. In 2002, I purchased a diode laser from a company to replace my Alexandrite laser. I will not say the brand nor the model because they really don’t deserve any publicity whatsoever. I used it for a few years and then I started to have downs, electrical problems, etc… It became a real nightmare for me since I had to cancel my appointments. I came across Medicam, a Canadian manufacturer. I called them and explained my problem. They did an analysis of my needs and I decided to purchase a new IPL from them. After 3 months of intense use, I got a little problem with my machine. What happened is just hard to believe. In 24 hours, my machine was picked up from my location in Calgary by FEDEX, they sent me a loaner the next day and after 3 days, I got a call from Paul saying that a 3 months old machine is not supposed to be fixed, they just exchanged it by a brand new one. I also took a chance to talk to Paul about my problem with my diode laser and he offered me to send it to his location in Montreal to have one of his engineer look at it. I spoke with George at service to explain the problems and within a week, I got my diode back up and running and fully functional. They did not even charge me to fix my machine, I only assumed the shipping fees! I sold my diode and I just bought another unit from that company. Medicam, God bless you all, you saved my business.
